Counterintuitive facts on CO2 emissions...

To the contrary of my belief, the US has seen a rather constant downward path of its per capita CO2 emissions to levels close to the 50s...!? Were you aware? Declining CO2 emissions per capita in Europe is better known.

Obviously, the continuous dramatic increase of global CO2 emissions remains the worry, but this really hints to the extent to which their weight has switched from developed to EM countries over past decades. Makes it even more worrysome...
